Korindji Gold Project

The Korindji project area consists of one permit (130km2) located in western Mali. Birimian Gold has entered into a joint venture agreement with Binke Mining Corporation SARL, where Birimian will spend a total of $1.2M on exploration over three years to earn an 85% in the Korindji Permit. Binke retain 15% equity in the permit and is free carried to the granting of a mining concession.

Korindji is situated in the Kenieba region of western Mali, near the border with Senegal, approximately 500km by road from Bamako. The Korindji permit is located in one of the premier mining districts in West Africa. The Sadiola and Yatela mines (Iamgold/Anglogold) are situated about 20km to the east and north east of Korindji. The Massawa (Randgold; 4Moz) and Sabodala (Mineral Deposits; 2Moz) mines are situated about 100km to the south, and south-west of Korindji, in Senegal.

Trends which host mineralisation at Sadodala strike north-north-east. Similarly striking trends occur in the Korindji Project area. In addition, the Etruscan Resources Diba Project occurs in a north-west striking structure that also traverses the eastern margin of the Korindji project area.

In addition to the Binke Joint Venture, Birimian Gold is in negotiations with other vendors to secure tenure over prospective trends which extend onto neighbouring permits

Previous exploration at Korindji is limited to wide spaced (500m x 200m) soil sampling. Elevated gold-in-soil results from these surveys have not been followed up. Initial programs of infill soil sampling and pitting/trenching of better anomalies would rapidly define drill targets in this geologically prospective area.

Terms of Agreements

Birimian Gold has entered into a joint venture agreement with Binke Mining Corporation SARL on the Korindji Property. Birimian can spend a total of $1.2M on exploration over three years to earn an 85% interest in the Korindji Property. Binke retain 15% equity in the property and are free carried to granting of a mining concession.

Birimian can earn an interest in the joint venture over three years by completing $500,000 expenditure to earn 51% equity, and an additional $700,000 expenditure to earn a further 34% equity. At the end of the earn-in period, Binke will retain a 15% free carried interest in the property until the grant of a mining concession. Upon granting of a mining concession Birimian has the right to purchase one half of Binke's remaining interest, for an amount to be agreed at that time. In this event, Binke can revert to a 2% NSR or retain a 7.5% contributing interest.
